belpetr Hi The offset button does not work with meshes. See the video on the link. https://monosnap.com/file/v8jnUbeZEoJgY4XOO1lZTzUMVTONgx Thanks
Erika Hello belpetr, as you can read in the user guide: Dopesheet - Spine User Guide: Key Offset Key Offset only works on rotate, translate, scale, shear, and slot color keys.
Erika You should actually learn to manipulate meshes through bones, it will save you sanity, it works with offset, makes the animations lighter, and it's easy to modify, I've made some streams about this, one that resembles yours is here:
belpetr Bones are great and give many advantages over mesh animation. But often meshes are very simple and creating additional bone does not make sense. For example, when a mesh is a simple rectangle or a triangle. And the animation for him is a small twist in the perspective.
Erika I would still use bones to manipulate them for the above advantages in the long term (: all the more on a face! Every time I use direct mesh deformation I end up regretting it lol. ( <-personal opinion and experience, you're free to do what you prefer of course! ) You'll be happy to know you can use offset on all keys now in beta! 😃
