I just finished all of my on-going Unity projects, and thought this was a good low-stress situation to update my Unity, which I hadn't done in a while. I snagged the latest stable version from Unity's website after checking (too hastily, as I later learned) that the latest Spine runtime was compatible with the 2018 release. After some troubleshooting, I noticed the runtime is only compatible with 2018.1, so I need to downgrade from the latest 2018.2.0f2, but I'm wondering if anyone has already went through the releases since 2018.1.0 back in may and found what the latest version to play nice with the runtime is, to potentially save me from iterating through the releases one-by-one?
Ah, I'm a massive dolt and apparently wasn't content with failing to read the supported Unity version on the runtime documentation page just once, and instead went for a second round, before finally now realizing I'll have to go all the way back to the 5.x tab in the Unity download archive to find a supported version in 5.6.6.
Didn't turn out to be as big of an update as I'd thought as I was running 5.6.4 previously, but oh well π
If someone has gotten the runtime to work with 2018.x without too much hassle, I'd love to hear about it!
