Downloading new version on each startup

Hello, every time I start Spine, it downloads version 3.0.08 again and again. Is that normal? It kind of slows down an already slow startup 🙂 I even tried downloading the installer and reinstalling, still the same effect.

Still the same issue with 3.1.05.

Same Issue with 3.1.08 . Please fix. It keeps downloading every time. I tried setting a different version, same thing. I was unable to use the software at all during some sort of connection issue it had with the website.

I reported this error on the very first 3.0 release, and still nothing after several months! I can't use 3.0 too.

Still nothing ... any fixes?

Sorry, we have been run thin lately. We are expanding the team though and will have a lot more resources starting in June. I know this problem is annoying, but at least doesn't prevent usage of the app. We have looked into it but since we can't get it to happen an any of the many computers we have tried it on, tracking down the problem has proven difficult. We are still working on it though and I'm sure we'll get it fixed.

I have this problem too. But it seems that the trial version has no problem about this. I tryed to get the main program version down to 2.x, the same trouble. I guess it is the problem about the 3.x launcher,not the program itself.Every time I run the launcher, the downloaded files automatic disappeared... If you download both 2.x and 3.x, you'll lost the file which has the version you just want to choose.

We have this problem too. We are in China, and seems esotericsoftware.com has been blocked here(it's very very slow or unavailable most of the time).We need 10₃₀ minutes to launch spine everytime through vpn.

In China,that's a big problem, we hope you fix it ASAP.

And I can reproduce it in my computer(Win10) and virtual machine(win7).
Mac version is no problem.

This bug exists almost half an year, 6 months! And they still can't fix it. This is insane!

I just bought 3.2.0.1 and I also have this "problem". If you can't reproduce the problem, maybe some kind of remote (TeamViewer) debugging can help?!
Or posting a WireShark log etc.?!
