way to select ik rather than bone?

as I'm still getting along with Spine (quite frustrating to be honest), one thing I often run into is I want to select an IK bone to pose but Spine half of the time selects bone instead, I yet to figure out a way to avoid this am I missing something?

If you need to select it quite often you can consider storing a selection by pressing Ctrl+a number of choice then you can recall it by pressing the corresponding number.

To select it the first time, if it gets pretty hard, you can select it from the tree rather than the viewport.

You want to select an IK bone but Spine "selects bone instead"? You mean you want to select the IK target but it selects some other bone? If the other bone is one of the IK constrained bones, you could disable selection on those bones.
