Im on macbook pro.

Our team is working on a Unity project that is incorporating 2d sprites using spine for animation...typical im sure.

However, when our artist shared the spine file for some of the character, I am unable to move the controllers he set up to test animation and quality.

I know the set up is correct. And I had him take me through the process no my Macbook, however, it does not move. I had it moving once...so i know its not impossible, however, all times after that have met with failure.

Any workarounds or fixes in the pipeline?

What do you mean by controllers? Are you talking about handles in the Spine editor, or something you setup in Unity? Could you create a gif or small video of the problem you have? What Spine version are you using?

Sorry, controller is what our animator named it - I am not sure what the in-software name is.

Maybe there is a constraint which is setting the bone position? Then you wouldn't be able to move it. Are you able to move any bones? If you are still having trouble, can you please post or email the .spine file? contact@esotericsoftware.com

Yeah, I moved it once, then it stopped working. Again, the art team has no problem moving it, so I know its set up correctly. I will reach out to esoteric support.
